History

Cores Worldwide Inc., an established and highly successful Nova Scotia based Canadian company, supplies a broad range of services in the installation, repair and maintenance of large bore marine and industrial diesel engines and generators and the repair and overhaul of marine gears, clutches and couplings.

CORES was established in 1997 to fill a need in the marketplace of the eastern seaboard of North America serving a broad range of customers from both the public and private sectors.
This gives CORES the ability to take on projects large and small; either on location or in the company’s 10,000 sq. ft. plant located less than an hour from Canada’s major East Coast port of Halifax. CORES also has additonal exterior sealed storage containers coupled with 100,000 sq. ft. of developed laydown area.

CORES has completed over 2000 jobs in their 14 year history. These jobs have ranged from; periodic maintenance on small and large vessels, complete engine removals on large container vessels to complete overhauls on large diesel generators. In addition, CORES has always hired Nova Scotians to form their employee base. CORES also uses as many local sub-contractors as possible for their work. As a local Nova Scotian company, Cores strives to have the highest amount of local content within their business through their employees and services rendered.
