Service work performed in the Dockyard in Halifax, NS and at the plant in Belnan, NS.

Cores Worldwide Inc. was contracted to remove all major engine components on both main engines, completely rebuild both ship service generators and engines and remove both turbo couplings. The project required CORES to send servicemen, tools and equipment to the Dockyard in Halifax. CORES disassembled both main engines, leaving the engine block and cranksahft in place, disassembled both ship service generators and disassembled both turbo couplings. All parts and major components were sent to the CORES plant. All parts and components were reconditioned, the engines, generators and couplings were reassembled and sea trialed. All work was completed on time and on budget.
