Service work performed in the Dockyard in Halifax and at the plant in Belnan, NS

Cores Worldwide Inc. was contracted to complete a major overhaul on both of the main engines, rebuild both ship service generator engines, remove both main engine blowers and remove the upper and lower crankshafts from the port main engine.  The job required CORES to send servicemen, tools and equipment to the Dockyard in Halifax. CORES disassembled both main engines, disassembled both ship service generator engines, disassembled both blowers and had all parts and major components sent to the CORES plant. All parts and components were reconditioned or replaced. The main engines, ship service generator engines and blowers were    reassembled, installed on the vessel and sea trialed. All work was completed on time and on budget.
